We are truly blessed to work with Ryan & Kristen Brockett with B Designs this year to create our 2026 No Ranger Fight Alone Pink Out Design as we work better together as a team and love supporting other small businesses,
This year’s design is especially meaningful as we dedicate it to Coach Hopkins’ amazing spouse, Kimberly. As a Ranger community, we want to come together to show the Hopkins family just how much they are loved, supported, and surrounded by their Ranger family.
The Hopkins family has been a strong and beloved part of the Smithson Valley community for the past 20 years. Coach Hopkins has coached and taught at Smithson Valley Middle School for 16 years and has spent the past 4 years at Smithson Valley High School.
Together, Coach Hopkins and Kimberly have four boys: Jackson, 19; Hunter, 18; and Austin and Mason, both 10.
Kimberly was originally diagnosed with Stage 2B breast cancer in 2017. After undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, a hysterectomy, and a double mastectomy, along with countless prayers, she was blessed to go into remission.
Kimberly shared:
“There aren’t many wonderful things about cancer, but the outpouring love and support from the SV families has made this fight easier.”
In 2023, Kimberly began experiencing hip pain, and shortly afterward, she learned that the cancer had returned. This time, it had spread to her hips, ribs, and lower back, making everyday tasks and employment increasingly difficult.
Over the past three years, there have been plenty of ups and downs, with moments of both tumor growth and shrinkage. Her most recent scans, however, brought some encouraging news—the tumors are very close in size and quantity to where they were when she was first diagnosed.
Through it all, Kimberly continues to remain incredibly optimistic and strong. Chemotherapy is exhausting and challenging, but she continues to face each day with positivity and gratitude.
“The one thing cancer will never take from me is my positive attitude! So, if you see me at the Rangers game, please feel free to come say hi. I’ll be the one cheering loudly and enjoying every moment of my blessed life!”
This year’s Pink Out design is more than just a shirt. It is a symbol of love, strength, hope, and the incredible support of the Smithson Valley Ranger family.
We invite our Ranger community to wear this design proudly as we stand beside Kimberly, Coach Hopkins, and their boys through this fight!
💗 ALL proceeds will go directly to the Hopkins family. 💗
